Daphné d'Hennezel is a Mediator. She graduated from IFOMENE (Training Institute for Mediation and Negotiation affiliated with the Catholic Institute of Paris) and has also followed the training Resolvers under the direction of  Mr. Thierry Garby.

Daphne is a lawyer by training. She holds a Master II in International Business Law and obtained a Diploma in Common Law from the University of Cork in Ireland.



Daphné worked as in-house counsel in a bank. She then joined the International ADR Centre of the International Chamber of Commerce as deputy manager. The ICC International Centre for ADR administers alternative dispute resolution proceedings and namely international commercial mediation procedures.


Thanks to her experience within the ICC International Centre for ADR Daphné had the opportunity to meet the best international mediators. She assisted dozens of mediation sessions and acquired significant experience in mediation in the management of international commercial disputes. 

Training, Conferences and Lectures


Daphné d'Hennezel regularly speaks at conferences on alernative dispute resolution processes. She is also an external lecturer in the Master II Litigation at the Paris XIII University in conventional mediation and judicial, as well as the ESSEC Business School as part of a Specialized Master in Mediation and Negotiation.


Daphné d'Hennezel organized of the 7th ediation of the International Mediation Conference of the ICC entitled "Dispute Resolution Processes: Mix and Match for the Best Results" which took place i Paris on October 19, 2016. She is a member of the National Chamber of Mediation Practitioners (CNPM in France). Daphne is also a member of the French Academy of Mediation (https://mediationacademie.wordpress.com/).
